Yes. Private group visits may be arranged for companies, schools, community organisations and other organised groups, subject to the foundation’s availability and prior agreement.

A visit may include an introduction to Anakron, a guided tour around the Selmun medieval-village project, historical interpretation and selected demonstrations. The programme can be discussed according to the group’s age, size and interests.

Use the Contact Us page and provide your preferred dates, approximate group size, age range where relevant, and the type of experience you are interested in. We will then discuss availability and suitable arrangements.

There is currently no fixed fee for private tours or group activities. However, as Anakron is a volunteer-run foundation, donations are always greatly appreciated and help support the ongoing maintenance and development of the Selmun Interpretation Centre and our living history activities. Any additional services or special requirements can be discussed and agreed upon accordingly.

We welcome enquiries from local councils, cultural organisations, schools and private organisers. Send us the event date, location, expected audience and the type of historical activity required.

Visits must currently be arranged in advance. The site is an ongoing volunteer-led and self-funded project, so access and available activities can vary.
